Scott was a fellow gradudate student of Mom back in Pittsburgh. He married LeAnn, yet another graduate student there, although in a different field from Scott and Mom. We have kept in touch over the years.

LeAnn and Scott have three children: Ashlyn, Gwyneth, and Liam.
