We survived Charles’ birthday. It was a sleep over but although Charles invited five other boys only two of them (Mason and Josie) were able to make it. Mason, as usual, spent most of his time on the Wii. This time he wasn’t alone — Alice played Lego Star Wars with him. Eventually it got late and when I checked on Charles and Josie and found them just laying on the couch in the basement with a blanket I said “it’s time for bed”.
They had some more fun in the morning as they didn’t sleep as late we had hoped. Uncle Evil had arrived early in the morning (surprising Corwin in the couch bed with some snow). They all had some fun with him until the computers called out too strongly. They had spent time at supper the night before trading “Fun Facts about Uncle Evil”. In the end, though, their parents relented and took Charles’ guests back.
