[Mom rousts us out to look at the sky because a big front is rolling through]
Charles: Wow, it’s like I can see the clouds moving!
Dad: You can. Mom said they were moving along at 50 MPH, like they were driving down the highway.
Charles: How do we know when it’s going to start raining?
[Rain drops start falling]
Dad: When water starts falling out of the sky.
[Charles and Dad run for the door as lots of rain and strong winds descend]
We weren’t quick enough to lock Mom out in the rain. I will also note that Mom was alerted to the incoming front by someone on Facebook.
