Corwin received some free tickets (not, in my view, worth what he paid for them) for a local university football game. Mom’s a soft touch, though, and volunteered to go along. The rest of us stayed home and had fun. A number of Corwin’s classmates attended as well, there apparently being a regular blizzard of free tickets. Corwin claimed he had fun watching, although I noted that Mom took along a book and a deck of cards “just in case”.
LOL at the cards! Josh loved it, but he’s pretty much a sports maniac!!! So glad they had good weather. Could have been a miserable day.
Turns out we didn’t need to break out the cards. Corwin watched part of the game, but I think the highlights for him were doing “the wave” and the Card section. During half time, the card section did a animated cup of hot chocolate being consumed.
The seats were great. I figured we would be in the highest balcony, but we were nine rows from the field even with the south goal. We could watch the cheer leaders, baton lady, and assorted camera folks. Oh yeah, the game was pretty good too :-)
