Alice un-progress report

Alice is still not walking. I thought she was going to on the train, to cross the aisle, but Corwin decided to help out and carried her across she hesitated. She definitely looks likes she’s considering walking, but invariable decides that crawling would be a better idea.

Alice does crawl up the steps but then she stands up, at which point a parent swoops in and removes her so that she doesn’t try to sit down and induce a head impacting tumble.

Alice isn’t sleeping through the night. She generally wakes up at least once, sometimes two or three times. Mom’s better about dealing with it than I am. Generally I don’t notice until the second or third time and that only because by then Alice is in our bed, crying directly in to my ear.

But, Alice is so gosh darned cute, that we’ll probably keep her anyway.

Alice is also starting to eat solid foods. For the past month or two she has just not been interested but lately she’s been much more willing to take the time out of her busy schedule to chew and swallow instead of just taking a bottle to go.
