Alice is now old enough to display interest in particular classes of objects, as opposed to anything that is currently within her reach. Her strongest preferences are
If you put her down near a bathroom she’ll make a bee-line for the toilet, which is a source of consternation when trying to handle one’s own needs or those of one of her brothers (such as when I’m washing Charles’ face with one hand while trying to use a foot to keep Alice from enjoying the toilet too thoroughly).
Alice is also strongly attracted to electronic devices, particularly keyboards on laptops and remote controls. Such things just push her button, apparently.
Stuffed animals are not of much interest to her, except for the hungry catepillar which is her favorite chew toy.
And, of course, she likes Daddy best.
