The second day we went down to the Central plaza and did some shopping. I walked right by the Internet cafe that I’m typing at now. Corwin and I went swimming although it was a bit chilly. The Jacuzzi was nice.
Aunt Evelyn got the stomach flu in the afternoon, so she spent the rest of the day in bed. She’s feeling much better now though.
Corwin is the ring bearer in the wedding. He got through the rehersal and only dropped the rings twice (in the grass, in the dark).
After rehearsal, we got to see one of the volcanoes errupting in the distance. Corwin was quite excited and not scared. Antigua is surrounded by three volcanos. Quite striking. But Corwin had been asking many questions about how often do the volcanoes errupt and why do people live near them. He has been watching the Ring of Fire DVD too much. But he was just happy and excited to see the erruption.
That night Josh’s parents took everyone to dinner. Outside in a courtyard. The food was very good. Corwin fell asleep during the soup of course.
