Over the weekend Mom got Corwin a potholder making kit. I thought it was a doomed effort but it turned out to be well liked by both boys.
Corwin completed one potholder by the next day and was hard at work on a second shortly afterwards. The production of one is actually a lot of work for a young boy, as the weft pieces have to be threaded over and under all of the warp pieces. I’ve been impressed by Corwin’s focus and diligence.
Charles enjoyed the kit as well, stealing out loops to attach in to a long chain which he carried around for a couple of days.
